Rajasthan Assembly Election Result 2023:

According to the trends of Rajasthan Assembly Elections 2023, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is moving towards forming the government in the state with full majority. In this election, the magic of Ashok Gehlot, who is called the magician of Congress, did not seem to be working. In this assembly election, issues like leaks, leakages and Lal Diary were prevalent, which BJP capitalized on in the election campaign and made a comeback in the state after 5 years Issues like guarantee, crime against women and law and order were raised with full force. The Ashok Gehlot government made one move after another in the election year. Guaranteed to increase the health insurance limit to Rs 50 lakh, all the tempting promises including cheap cylinders were overshadowed by the allegations of paper leak, red diary and corruption.

paper leak case:

Paper leak issue was one of the issues that PM Modi raised strongly during the Rajasthan election campaign. He had told the public that after the coming of the BJP government, all the scams that have taken place will be investigated and the culprits will be sent behind the bars. Accusing CM Ashok Gehlot, he had said that he calls himself a magician, but he has spread the illusion of corruption in the state with his magic. Paper leaking has become a common thing and it has got political protection. PM Modi had even said that if raids are conducted on big coaching institutes, the names of people close to the Chief Minister will come to light.

Red diary case:

The issue of Lal Diary is not new in the politics of Rajasthan. This has been mentioned for a long time, but PM Modi gave it a big boost in this election campaign. Even Rajendra Gudha, the minister who was dismissed from the Rajasthan government, had talked about having an account of the horse-trading of MLAs. Referring to this red diary, PM Modi had said that as the pages of this diary are being opened, the faces of the magician are getting blown away. PM Modi had said, “It is clearly written in the Lal Diary that how the Congress government has sold your water, forests and land in the last five years. It is not hidden from anyone to whom the strings of illegal mining are being connected in the state.”

Groupism:

Apart from these issues, factionalism was also seen within the Congress in Rajasthan. The tussle that arose between CM Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot was not hidden from anyone. This also affected the party workers in the state and the message also went wrong among the public. Although before the elections, party president Mallikarjun Kharge and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi tried to unite the two and the message of ‘we are together’ was also given, but it did not seem to have any effect on the election results.

Kanhaiyalal murder case:

In the election campaign of Rajasthan, BJP raised the issue of Kanhaiyalal murder case of Udaipur fiercely. It is said that if you want to win the state, you will have to win Mewar first and Udaipur is in Marwar. Regarding the Kanhaiyalal murder case, BJP raised serious questions on the law and order of the Congress government and Ashok Gehlot got trapped in this trap also.

ED’s entry:

During the elections in five states, ED also entered two states. In Rajasthan, ED raided the houses of state Congress President Govind Singh Dotasara and Congress candidate Omprakash Hoodla in the paper leak case. Congress also raised this issue in the election campaign. Ashok Gehlot talked about this issue in every press conference but only BJP seemed to benefit from it.
